Keyboard Monitor Help/Setup Page
Thank you for purchasing the Keyboard Monitor. The last update of this software was February 2nd, 2001 (Keyboard Monitor 3.01) If you bought a copy before this date and want a free update, please email support@originalprograms.com with your ticket number and we'll send you a copy.
Setting up the Keyboard Monitor
Download the krec.exe file by clicking the link and choosing "Save Target As..." Go the directory where you downloaded it to and double click it. This will launch the install program. Choose the directory where you want to install the program to and click "Install". The program is now monitoring your computer and will start up whenever Windows starts up.
Accessing the recorded information
The program is monitoring every keystroke you make on the keyboard once it's installed. To initially bring up the viewer window that decrypts the recorded information and allows you to customize it, simply type the default password builder007 in any text box on Windows. Make sure you don't press backspace, shift, etc... Then, the recorded files will be in the list to the left. Click one of those to view the recorded file.
Program Controls

File -> Change Password - Allows you to change your current password.

File -> Clear Information - Allows you to clear all the recorded keystrokes.

File -> Close Viewer - Hides the viewer window.

Edit -> * - Allows you to cut, copy, and paste the text.

Help --> * - Launches website of menu.
- Exit -> * - Allows you to hide the viewer or stop the program from recording.
Uninstalling the Keyboard Monitor
To uninstall the program, double click the krec.exe file you downloaded from the web site. Click "Uninstall". The program is now completely off your computer.
